About Us

Ascend was born when a group of seasoned long distance runners and younger runners new to the sport decided to have a conversation over coffee. The topic of conversation? Their love for running and the technicalities of it.

 

As the conversation progressed, fuelling strategies and carb loading came into the picture; gels & electrolytes took over. And of course, the issues surfaced. The performance fueling products in the market either focussed too heavily on performance while ignoring taste, vice versa or had athletes visiting loos rather than the finish line.

 

Ascend was born out of this conversation between endurance athletes. Every product that you see on our roster has been tried and tested by the athletes, coaches and performance nutritionists who were in conversation at that coffee table.

 

Our mission is to bridge a much ignored gap between performance and fueling with products that are built for endurance athletes by endurance athletes.
